Dr. Ganapathi is a jovial person and a smart working guy, he never gives up anytime even though it is beyond his capability. He is a key team player and can handle pressurized situations with a smile and encourage others to complete the task within the time frame. He was known as Kattappa in the IITM Gymkhana because of his dedication and hairstyle.
He was born in a village, a place called Avidi, Andhra Pradesh, India, which is a Godavari-based delta. He pursued his Bachelor's (Electronics and communications engineering) and master's (Nano Technology) from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTUH). After his Bachelor's, he placed on campus placement as a Research Associate in Shore Infotech India Pvt. Ltd. and moved to higher education after 2 years of experience. He worked in the CSIR - Indian Institute of Chemical Technology (IICT), Hyderabad as a Project Assistant for 1 year and 2 months and moved to higher education. He obtained is Ph.D. in Energy conversion and storage in electrochemistry under the supervision of Prof. Kothandaraman Ramanujam, Department of Chemistry, Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM). Currently working as an Assistant Manager in Amara Raja Advanced Cell Technologies (ARACT). He is passionate about research in energy using different tools and wants to become an entrepreneur in the same field.
